Pulaski County is located in northwestern Indiana, bordered on the north by Starke County, to the east by Marshall County, to the southeast by Cass County, to the south by White County, and to the west by Jasper County.
It has an area of 434 square miles and during the 2000 Census had 13,755 residents.
Winamac (2000 Census population of 2,418) is both the largest city in Pulaski County and the County Seat.
Other cities and towns include Francesville (905), Medaryville (565), Star City (377), and Monterey (231).
The county was named for Casimir Pulaski, a hero of the Revolutionary War..
